Noida Labour Protest Live Updates: A wage protest by labour unions turned violent in Noida on Monday morning, with workers torching vehicles, clashing with police, blocking roads and vandalising factories, triggering massive traffic jams across Noida and parts of Delhi, leaving commuters stranded during peak office hours. Authorities deployed additional forces to contain the unrest as workers from multiple industrial units pressed for long-pending salary hikes. Commuters faced delays reaching schools and offices, with autos and cabs scarce or charging nearly triple fares. Similar protests were seen in Faridabad, involving Motherson Group staffers, and spread to parts of Rajasthan, including Bhiwadi, where factory workers demanded higher wages.
