Noida International Airport will start commercial flight operations from June 15, 2026. The airport operator shared this update on X. It has received approval for its Aerodrome Security Programme from the Bureau of Civil Aviation Security. This clears the way for passenger flights after the Prime Minister’s inauguration.
Airlines to Start Services
IndiGo will run the first flight from the airport. Other airlines like Akasa Air and Air India Express are also expected to start flights soon. However, their routes and schedules have not been announced yet. The airport operator confirmed that all systems and procedures are ready for smooth operations.
Better Connectivity for North India
The airport is built to handle growing air travel demand. It has modern terminal facilities and good transport links for both passengers and cargo. Once it starts, it will reduce the crowd at Indira Gandhi International Airport and improve travel, trade, and tourism in North India.
Noida International Airport is a new greenfield project located in Jewar, Uttar Pradesh. It is one of the major infrastructure projects aimed at improving regional connectivity and supporting economic growth.
