31-km Six-Lane Corridor to Enhance NCR Connectivity

A 31.42-km greenfield expressway will directly connect Delhi-Faridabad-Ballabhgarh-Sohna with Noida International Airport. About 22–24 km will run through Haryana and 7–9 km through Uttar Pradesh. The National Highways Authority of India is developing the project, targeting completion by April 2027. Some sections may open sooner as construction advances. Once operational, travel from Faridabad to the airport will take 15–20 minutes.

1,200 Pillars Built & Yamuna River Girders in Progress

So far, around 1,200 pillars have been built. Also, girders are being installed across the Yamuna River for the elevated section. The corridor will feature an 11-km elevated highway connecting the DND-Ballabhgarh bypass to Noida Airport.

Route to Pass Through 18 Villages

The expressway will link with major routes such as the Eastern Peripheral Expressway, Yamuna Expressway, Delhi-Mumbai Expressway, and the Dedicated Freight Corridor. This network will strengthen multimodal transport and reduce travel time from South Delhi, Faridabad, and Gurugram. Additionally, it will boost business, trade, logistics, and real estate in 18 villages across Haryana and Uttar Pradesh.

Elevated Corridor Costs Rs 689.24 Crore

The elevated section costs Rs 689.24 crore, with Haryana contributing Rs 450 crore. The corridor will support high-density urban development and future infrastructure under the Faridabad Master Plan 2031. Consequently, it will enhance the region’s long-term growth and connectivity.
